‘Zami’: The Black Queer Book by Audre Lorde You Need to Read this Pride Month!

Zami is a book by Audre Lorde that is viewed by many as a right of passage for LGBTQ+ individuals, most specifically queer-identified women of color.

Zami has personally revolutionized the way I approach dating and intimacy and caused me to reflect deeply on the issues that are still haunting our community. During this month, it is essential for us all to reflect on the progress we’ve made, and where we would like for us to continue advancing, unifying and improving.

Until next time, remember to give time time and to have the best day of your life–on purpose!
