Music Monday: BoomScat

BoomScat

This group! I have to preface with that because of how dope they are. Prior to seeing Boomscat live, a couple years ago, I had only seen pictures of them, but never heard any of their music. My initial thought? I’ve been missing out! Back in Chicago I heard Scat (Patience) sing, but never Boom (Asha). In fact, from pictures I assumed they would be similar to Floetry; one would be master of the keys and the other would sing…WRONG! Again, THIS GROUP! Imagine this…you’re in a cafe, bar, lounge enjoying the talented rhythms of Boom and the melodic voice of Scat. Life is good, right? Then, just as you’re certain the duo can’t give you anything more, Boom opens her mouth and sings. What? Just like that, BOOM you’re hooked. Sounds like hype? Too good to be true? Don’t believe me, just check them out below.
